Mobile

Audience: Field

The Chekku mobile app is where field personnel capture visits, forms, photos, and signatures. Your office configures rules on the web; you execute them on the phone.

Who installs the app

Your administrator creates your mobile user account on the web. You (or IT) install Chekku from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS), then sign in with the email and password your organization gave you.

If you cannot sign in, ask your admin to confirm your account is active and assigned to the right team.

Your daily agenda

When you open the app, the agenda shows today’s assigned work—scheduled tasks and visits your supervisor expects you to complete. Use it to plan your route before leaving coverage.

You can also start a new visit when your process allows it (for example an unplanned check-in at a client site). Pick the correct visit type so the right forms and evidence requirements appear.

What you can capture offline

Chekku is built for weak or no signal. While offline you can:

  • Open assigned activities and start or continue visits
  • Capture location tied to the visit (not a separate GPS form field)
  • Take photos and add comments
  • Fill forms and collect signatures
  • Save everything locally until the device reconnects

Location, photos, forms, and signatures stay attached to the visit record—not scattered across unrelated screens.

Sync when you are online

When connectivity returns, Chekku syncs automatically. Uploaded visits, form answers, and evidence become visible to supervisors on the web.

Before you leave a site or end your shift:

  1. Open the app and wait until pending items show as synced (or no upload errors).
  2. If something fails, stay on Wi‑Fi or good signal and retry.
  3. Tell your supervisor if a visit still shows as pending after sync.

Tips

  • Install updates from the store when prompted—older versions can block sync.
  • Always choose the visit type that matches the job; required fields depend on it.
  • Attach clear photo evidence before marking the visit complete.
  • Do not expect to edit form definitions on mobile—that is office work on the web.
