Mobile

Office saves configuration; field devices pick it up after sync.

Audience: Mixed (Admin · Field leads)

Chekku is one operation with two surfaces. Confusing them is the most common onboarding mistake.

What the web is for

Use the web app when you need to:

  • Design and save forms in Form Builder
  • Create data sources and bind them to List fields
  • Configure visit types, places, teams, and users
  • Review visits, form responses, dashboards, and reports
  • Set up automations after a form is submitted

Admins and supervisors live here most of the day.

What mobile is for

The mobile app is for field personnel:

  • See today’s agenda and assigned tasks
  • Start or continue visits at a place
  • Capture location, photos, comments, forms, and signatures
  • Work offline when coverage is weak; sync when connected again

Install from Google Play or the App Store. Mobile users are not expected to edit form definitions.

How work flows between them

  1. Office configures visit types and forms on the web.
  2. Field opens a visit on mobile and fills what the visit type requires.
  3. Answers and evidence appear on the web for supervisors to review.
  4. Automations or tasks can fire from form submit (when configured).

Tips

  • Test every new form on a real phone before rolling it out.
  • Keep “office-only” configuration out of the mobile checklist.
  • Offline capture still needs a later sync—confirm the visit on the web after the first field day.
